Admire the marvellous landscaping and floral creations of this world famous festival

A festival for gardening enthusiasts and experts alike

Inaugurated in 1992, the International Garden Festival at Chaumont-sur-Loire, in the heart of the Loire Valley, offers an astonishing panorama of the latest creations in landscape design from across the world.

The new 10-hectare Parc des Prés du Goualoup is now home to perennial gardens linked to the world’s great civilisations.

Come stroll and discover these exceptional creations from April 23 to November 1, 2015.

And of course, don’t miss a visit to the Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire, a veritable balcony overlooking the Loire, which first belonged to Queen Catherine de Médicis and then to Diane de Poitiers, before experiencing an intense period of intellectual fervent when the Le Ray family opened Chaumont’s doors to the sculptor Nini, the American Benjamin Franklin and France’s renowned woman of letters Germaine de Staël.
